The TC is located in the heart of Seattle's Historic Central District, a neighborhood that is known for its innovative business community, artistic tendencies, exceptional food, and direct proximity to the pulse points of Seattle. A ten minute bus-ride or a brisk walk takes you to the heart of downtown. A 10 minute walk or two minute drive and you are in Capitol Hill, an eclectic enclave of thriving clubs, coffee-houses, thrift stores, natural food co-ops, museums, original shop
s and lovely parks. It's also home to the Frye Art Museum, where American and European paintings can be
viewed for free, and the elegant Seattle Asian Art Museum, with its renowned collection of works from Japan, China, Korea, India, and Thailand, housed in a 1933 art moderne structure in Volunteer Park. .
There is an excellent yoga studio, with a full roster of drop-in classes just four blocks away, (free class on Sat!), as well as Meredith Matthews, the YMCA with soul, a mere five minute drive or short bike ride away.
Four blocks in the other direction, is The Central Cinema, Seattle's only pizza & beer movie theater. A local place where you can enjoy good food to eat, a cold beer and fun, indie movies. Admission $5.00. On the same block is 20/20 Cycles where TC patrons get can a special rental rate on a bike for the day/weekend, or just sit on the couch by the fire and drink tea.
Walk 15 minutes to the South and you will enter the International District, featuring a plethora of exceptionally delicious Asian restaurants and shops. (Ask Ms. Truly for recommendations.) The International District and the Central District are the city’s two oldest surviving residential areas and are full of historic buildings and landmarks that have unique, vibrant atmospheres to accompany their rich histories. Over a century old, immigrants from all over the world made their homes in these neighborhoods. The vibrant mix of European, African and Asian settlers left an incredibly rich abundance of small businesses and eateries that derive their influences from the owners’ homelands.

| "I ate cheesy scones til i was cheddar in the face, made wonderful dinner with supplies from the kitchen, slept like a baby, and didn't want to leave. My days of hotels are over on my Seattle visits. It was TRULY a life changing experience to be able to become settled if only for a few days. Tobi (my dog) loved
the backyard, Julie (girlfriend) liked the flannel sheets, and fuzzy futon. Me...I'm in it for the food and sanity! Highly recommened, but how do I recommend without giving up the best kept secret in Seattle lodging. Keep it up Megan!!" Andrew Cheatham,
World-Wide Footwear Phenom, Portland, OR

"Truly Central is the best kept secret in Seattle. And as an
outrageously, intuitive and natural hostess (a rare breed is this..), the talented Ms. Truly has her finger on the pulse of what you need, and what you really don't need. She's easy going, yet takes no crap whatsoever...... She's strong and inspiring, wild and gentle.... She may surprise you with your favourite meal, dream the name of your future first born, or your next album, and send you on your way with homemade scones and a brain full of innovative ways to pioneer your life and visions. LOVE LOVE LOVE TRULY CENTRAL.....now...can I have my $5"
-Paula Fletcher - Dumb Clothing - San Francisco, CA |
"Whether or not you're a guest at truly central, why not book an appt. with Megan for the most blissful and deeply relaxing reiki session you've ever had? Mine always last well over an hour at the end of which i feel as if i've been on a week long vacation. If you haven't tried reiki, believe me, you will really understand why it's so powerful. You'll feel a real energetic change in your body after just one session. Just do it! "- Rebecca Young, bass player, North Twin, Ian Moore, EOC, and others.

| "Truly is talented, connected and cool, Her abilities run the gamut; from social ambassador, to entrepreneurial/publicity mega-genius, to all-around spiritual magistress.| Its just as much about her as it is about the Guest House - an awesome place to stay." - Mark Nichols, Musical Iconoclast, THE REALLY BIG, Seattle, WA, Bollywood, India |
"As a talented, intelligent amazing chef (I am a purist with food), musician, storyteller, godess, writer, connector and inspirator, Ms Truly has created the coziest, most beautiful hospitable sanctuary of a home that I've ever visited....a true nourishment to the soul. Last month she made me the best birthday lunch of my life as we sipped hot tea watching the snow fall while lounging like lioness in the softness of fur and pillows before the warm fire...as relaxing music floated behind our inspiring conversa
tion that will always play.......This space is my greatest inspiration for creating a home. When I do, I will consult her. Thank you Miss Truly! I love you!"

"My stays at Truly Central make my business trips to Seattle something I look forward to. Megan is always a gracious and perceptive hostess AND she knows all the great restaurants from the authentic hole in the wall to the completely decadent. The apartment is close to everything, yet tucked away, like a secret hide-out. This has the effect of transforming every stay into an enchanting getaway." Laurel Cain -Traveling Saleswoman, Exotic Fabrics - the glittery kind - San Francisco/Seattle.

| "Why the things I can tell you about the Truly Central Guest House! Aside from truly being truly central, she is cultured yet understated. A
t certain summer patio moments, you might even think you were in Costa Rica. The proprietaire of this little guest house is a hostess, not as a profession, but as a calling which means she knows when to be present but also when to disappear! This spacious guest house loves people who love adventure, art, literature, gardens and gourmet. Under her eaves, she has lodged many a musician, how she adores the sweet strains of music! This is your opportunity to experience Seattle in a truly central way!" - Zazou, Zazou Music, Seattle, WA |
